As part of our asset management service, we were appointed by Coast & Country Housing to deliver stock condition surveys to 400 social housing properties over a four month period.
As part of the service, we offered to carry out and produce Energy Performance Certificates (EPC’s) to each property at the same time as completing the condition survey.
Working alongside the company’s Asset Management Team, we produced a strategy to improve access to the properties which were historically difficult to access.
We used our own bespoke PDA Condition Survey software that has been developed specifically for capturing key information for social landlord’s condition surveys. The software has been designed to ensure consistency between the different surveyors engaged to deliver our commissions.
Furthermore, we can analyse all of the data to ensure its accuracy before submitting it to our clients. The software has been developed to enable the fields and multi-choice selections to be altered to suit our client’s asset management software, which was utilised on this commission to allow Coast & Country Housing to integrate the survey data.
The EPCs that were produced in addition to the condition surveys were successfully imported into Coast & Country’s asset management software. In addition to the collated data, we provided extensive photographic evidence to support the results of our inspections including site layouts for each house type.
