Funding secured to provide sustainability measures

We were appointed by County Durham housing provider, livin to provide technical assistance to secure Green Deal Home Improvement Funding to support two developments.

Funding was secured to improve thermal efficiency of timber framed bungalows at Travellers Green and Clarence Green in Sedgefield.  Our advice enabled our client to successfully access the funding streams of Energy Company Obligation (ECO) and Green Deal Home Improvement Fund to subsidise the proposed work.

Our services included:

• Arranging access with tenants.
• Completing an EPC.
• Undertaking an Occupancy Assessment.
• Provision of a Green Deal Advice Report.
• ECO calculations to confirm the amount of carbon emissions saved for each measure.
