Elvet were appointed by social housing provider livin as the Project Manager to deliver their Asset Management Strategy for 2011-16. This would outline the short to long-term future for their assets, which complemented and helped shape the company’s overall business plan.

Case Study: Decent Homes Programme 2

Modernising 2,100 properties to meet the Government’s Decent Homes Standard. Elvet Consultants were seconded into the project delivery team to undertake the role of Employer’s Agent and cost control including management of the client’s Clerk of Works and Trainee Quantity Surveryor.

Case Study: Lynwood House

Lynwood House is a sheltered housing development designed specifically for people aged 55 and over. Elvet Construction Consultants were invited to provide standard project management advice and prepare financial appraisals to ensure that the units were viable over a thirty year cycle.

Elvet were employed as lead consultants to deliver renewable home heating solutions to Derwentside Homes off-gas properties at Glebeside, Satley. We acted as Quantity Surveyor and Contract Administrator on the project from inception to practical completion.

The project was in partnership with Community Energy Solutions (CES), a non-profit distributing organisation established with core funding from One North East and the Department for Energy and Climate Change (DECC)
